The Pickwick Chronicles
41 boats had registered by Friday night for the OSS season opener in Pickwick, TN. 13 new boats or boats that had raced only once last year.
A reason to party, here at Stan Ware's compound where Popeye's famous Chicken and wicked filet steaks were served.
Considering that the Mikkosukee boat had burned down a few weeks ago, the team was still in dousing-the-flames mode

Mike Tomlinson welcomes 41 teams at the Saturday drivers meeting. 4 OSSC, 10 OSSCL, 8 OSSV, 10 OSSVL, 5 OSSCO, 1 OSSTX, 3 OSSCX
