We'll have more of this at each OSS race, along with results minutes after the race, lap times etc, straight from Priscilla Gratton's scoring computer, served hot & fresh.

The Puerto Rico race wasn't just tough on men & machines. The referees also doled out a number of fines for bad behavior.

Fines between $100.00 and $500 were assessed for infractions such as fueling in the water, riding on boat being lifted by crane, improper credentials, verbal assault on a race official and refusal to leave hot pits.

Two teams found themselves reduced by three minutes for using Hering propellers that did not meet the specification thickness.

For the first time, the new yellow/red card rule of OSS came to bear. See http://www.offshoresuperseries.com/teams.php?teamType=4

More like Verbal assault on racer. And racer had enough BS for one day. First time in 6 years of racing an official told me to FK myself. And the absolute last. Smitty
