Approximately 34 OSS boats made the long haul up North, crossed the international border, and to their surprise did not arrive in the great white north at all! Toronto is HOT, in more ways than one! Temperatures are in the 90%u2019s, or above 30C, as the Canadian like to say. The heat even surprised some Canadians or Floridians who thought they%u2019d seen it all. Combined with the extremely cold lake water temp, the heat is causing an inversion fog over the surface, and it cuts visibility from time to time. %u201CThe Canadians are great!%u201D reports Ray Standley from OSS Race Control. His course is set, and has been toured by the OPP (Ontario Provisional Police.) There is a long practice day today, and races on Sunday
