Bertal missed
It's just not the same with out Bertal at the race posting info every hour. All the pics and new info are missed by all that cant attend the race.
Bertal you are missed by all of us at OSS and our fans!

I'm sorry I wasn't in Toronto. I followed the Toronto races via talkoffshore and telephone (pick up when I call, Randy!) from midnight to 5am local here in Beijing. Updates and results were posted on the OSS website before the boats were craned out.
Looks like I will be present in spirit, but not in body at further races. In a month, I will drag another member of Team Typhoon (see attached) to a Shinto altar in Tokyo, and make her as indecent as it behooves a Typhoon crewmember in bad standing.
I will continue to serve the association.
Tomoko and Bertel Schmitt will return in Fall, and the relentless coverage of post-race-action will resume.
