How many SuperV's are running this year and how many plan on next year?

Wazzup has raced 4 times but I am not sure if they'll be back.
There is talk of a new DONZI team as well is a few others.

I certainly hope that Wazzup returns. I think that a new set of seals will prove that they were out front reasons other than just motors. Question about Fury, is that the same hull as Reichman's boat??? Is it faster than Gregs????

Are they different boats or is it just in the setup??? I know that Greg's boat has been for sale for over a year and the thing is clean i just wasnt familiar with the performance numbers. I am assuming that most of the current V's are running 110 mph, irrespective of organization.

steve has done alot of work on the bottom and set up. it is always in the top 3. greg gave up to quick

Wazzup isn't done yet. just regrouping. Dumped a ton of money in that boat, got a little something more to prove. 110 is a big number. To be competitive 105 106 will do.. The class is all about acceleration, not just speed. Good luck in Orange Beach. Smitty

Ray did LOTS of work to FURY that is why it runs so well , It's not the fastest V nut it is the FASTET Phantom . 105 is a respectable starting point.

Hey Brett. Greggs Boat is around 1,000 lb over wheight the boat is clean and easy to drive it ran high 90s as is. If the X was higher and a better scoop was installed, and you cut out the 1,000 lbs it would be a competetive boat it was off by 6 to 8 mph and in any class thats big. the acceleration was great it just ran out of speed. Unlike the Gladiator you can turn the $hit out off it without the nose falling off. It is easy to over drive that boat it will correct itself if you let her eat. I also think that on the top back of those boats should be squared off if you look at it close it acts like a wing. Alot can be gained with air flow in the engine compartment and out. Mike, Gregg didnt give up on her his company was growing at such a fast rate it required alot more of his time this year. I spoke with him last week and he may be working on a SCL for next year in OSS see ya in Orange beach.
