Cory, By the time you cut the canopy off and do the interior and move the bulkhead back you will probably spend another $15-$20k to modify it. Why not just sell it for $50K quick and buy a factory boat? Its a deal at $75k but and absolute steal at $55K Its just killing us racers to see a competitive boat get destroyed to become a bay bomber. Would you consider that as an option?

Cory wanted me to let everyone know he will be home this afternoon from his trip to Jersey where he dropped off the boat. He has received a few offers and has put a temporary halt on the boat transformation. He will respond to everyone as soon as he gets home.

OK Guys, I'm home! Randy there is no way in hell I would sell my boat for $50,000. I would have more fun cutting the deck off. Furthermore, as far as taking a boat out of the fleet (I've been nice about it), I was pushed out of the fleet.

I don't blame you for not wanting to sell cheap. I was just trying to add up what it would cost to do it vs just selling it for what it would cost to convert. I do wish you well in what ever direction you take. If its not fun than get out before it consumes you. Life is to short not to have fun when spending that kind of money racing. Its not for everyone.
