Popeyes SCL 136.8 MPH YESTERDAY!
David and I ran our 368 yesterday at False River in La. and we got 136.8 MPH on 1;24 ratio with sealed Merc 525's and Imco 4 x 4's. We were on the box's and tweaking trim when we ran out of room twice. ((False river is 7 mile almost horseshoe shaped) We had 36 pitch 5 blade Hering's and will try in Intercoastal again after sending props out to strech the pitch. WE had wt. at around 8070 to make it SCL legal. We plan to move to Supercat if we sell boat in 2007. I am trying to set up speed record run because in 07 wt will move to 8350 and I think it will pull but am not sure. Anyone wishing to buy boat and own record can contact us at 1 800 256 3662. I really think we can gaurantee 140 MPH when we are finished. 2 gps plus radar and will post link to run at intercoastal when done. This speed will be gaurenteed with sale with any proof you like I don't know if a ssmIV will do this at 8350 so we must set this season.uNBELIEVABLE WITH STOCK 525'S.!!!

Stan.....Congratulations.....here is shot of someone who would be very proud of you right now.
I'm sure he was watching over your record attempt and helped along the way.

Re: Popeyes SCL 136.8 MPH YESTERDAY!
The boat came out fast and Jerry did a great job. The bar with all the new hardware on the circuit has definitly moved up
a notch or two. The boat has been completely de-rigged and changed up. Dash cut away and safety exit added, all new configuration on gauge application and arrangement, Ballast re-moved and C-G altered and adjusted for, paint stripped and replaced, and some "secret" software has been installed for all performance records, 10 sets of "highly" tuned wheels for this boat with about two hundred hours of test time on spare motors. Although we did take out all of those pesky helium tubes . See you guys in the desert! ps Do you have any pointers for us water logged Louisiana coon-ass's on how to deal with 0 humidity?
