Default racer or soon to be

Hot Pursuit are you a racer? If not I would assume you are thinking about it, especially from the boats you have owned and the questions you address. Hopefully going to be a racer soon if not allready. Rules are rules and racing is always going to be racing. Next time the green boat will remember to not follow to close or go around. Thanks, Cam-shaft.

Thats why everybody wants to watch the start. He can always pull those little sticks back. I have been hosed and hosed people, its all part of racing.

I have rode up a rooster tail to the point of almost going over, its not safe or smart. But hell if we were smart we wouldnt be racing now would be.

Let it die, and lets see if steve can really beat anybody but himself. I think he won like 4 world championships in Key West last year, the only race he didnt enter was the supercat one. Ha Ha

Randy Scism was on the trottles president of MTI and has a few national and world titles under his belt.Richie won his class first time out in New Orleans SBI worlds after starting 100 yrds back.Even if he was a Rookie don't give the right to shut his lane off from both sides.

Thats all fine just so I know the rules!!!Its not about being smart, losing a race because all you equipment went to safe mode because of the amount of water going in the engine room sucks. That said don't put someone back for missing a turn bouy (Stan W).Don't select the rules you want to inforce.
I have been over 165 in a open 30 foot cat, being over safe hasn't been my strong point.
From the start of the thread I never pointed fingers or blame
just ask if it was legal or not.Racing is Racing so why did we go to canopys?Like I stated in another reply if he would have turned over or hit a piling canal marker we would not be having this discussing. All input and going over the facts is what makes a site like OSO.Offshore racing has come along way in safety because of close calls. That said I take all on this site as family and yes we will see things different from time to time.

Greer's Ferry WANTS A RACE AND IS PAYING FOR A RACE. Kitty Grey and staff are going all out to bring the action to there town. They have taken out billboards as well as TV time to promote there race site. The have rented extra cell towers and ATM machines to make every one feel at home. They have gone over many hurdles from the army corps to the tree huggers to pull this event on and we are looking forward to bringing the show to a whole new fan base. They've been at work for 2 years to make this happen and we can't wait to get there.
