Supercat $22,500.00
Vee lite $10,000.00
COB $ 5,000.00

It is based on number of boats in each class, build your class and the money tree grows...................and those figures Do not include Mercury money$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

nice

All boats in every class get the same amount of money then it is multiplied by the number of boats in the class. Then on top of that is the Mercury contingency money for the winners and for the year end overall top 5..... It works out really good.

Very nice. Has anyone looked at the cost of travel to compete in OSS vs. say SBI/APBA.

The purses look enticing, but if it costs you 4x as much to compete then it kind of takes the shine off the apple.

Nice to see them up there without a doubt and hope they continue to climb!

As it said its not a living, however most of the OSS boats run stock equipment and are actually alot cheaper to run than most p boats with after market motors that don't last and suck gas, money, a rolex or two and wives. So what is the extra cost, if you are already committed to racing? alittle more travel time and gas.
THE REWARDS:
prize money
mercury money
tv coverage equals sponsor oppurtunities
enforced rules
technical inspections
equal racing
THE LEVEL OF COMPETITION PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
