Fountain has a new boat in the next round. This boat left before it finished testing but it ran well. The next round should be very interesting. Good luck to all.

Since you are not allowed to race in OSS , the Powerboat P1 would be a great place for you and your boat!

The Fountain Worldwide boat is running Ilmore 625 V10s.

It should be joined by the Belgian campaigned Fountain 'Limmi Racing'
(pictured below) at the next race in Naples.

During testing yesterday for the coast of Ostend the Limmi-Fountain boat lost a rudder cover. The boat was directly filled with water and sunk in the Ostend harbour.

After suffering some electrical problems, Mercury engineers solved the problems.

At the final testing, pilot Nico Huybens lost the rudder cover and was only able to drive the boat into the Ostend harbour were it sunk. After a 3 hours’ recovery by firemen and harbour policeboats the boat was craned back on the trailer and despite minor visible scratches, the salt water inevitably affected all electronic material in the boat.

Due to this incident only one week before the P1 2007 Season-opening in Malta, the team unfortunately will be forced to make its season debut at the second Powerboat P1 Grand Prix of 2007, in Naples at the end of May.
