Thanks for the responses guys. I have seen the extreme in the classifieds. It needs a 525 to qualify correct? I'm hauling a boat to Tahoe during the Kenner dates and the return trip is during the Alabama race. Maybe I can make Kentucky?

Guys boat actualluy has a number 5 drive which would have to be changed. However Mercury has a OSS racer special rebate going on drive engine packages. Yes it is 525 merc power and a imco/bravo drive. This is why the class is so competitive. spec racing at its finest.......except for that Typhoon team!

Plus if you buy a new package from Merc Racing, you'll get back money for every race you enter during the first year, while the engine is new.

Call Jim Goerlitz at Merc Racing for all the details and exact pricing. 920 921 5330

I will sell without power and drive. The boat is also registered with OSS for 2008, Team 08, and already has a Mercury Racer account so can qualify for new 525/bravo rebate deal now. Send me a PM if interested.

We are having some fun. Just ask any SVL team and they will help in any way to get you in a boat and up to speed. Randy, and Wil Ros have helped us so much, Randy might now think to much. Whats not to like. No entry fee, no speed limit. Just go buy a boat and show up. That is what we really did. We never raced a boat before this year.

Might take some seat mods but you can fit in a Phantom

Also Phantoms are in the NADA book so you can finance one.

Thanks for answering some of my questions. One more, you mentioned that Phantoms are in NADA so you can finance them. Is that something you would want to do with a race boat? This has been my biggest obsticle due to the fact that It's only affordable to me to finance one. How many racers have their boat financed?

In my opinion, you would be nutz to finance a raceboat. Then you would need insurance, and once the boat gets on the race course, insurance doesnt exist. If the boat gets destroyed, insurance wouldnt cover it and you would still have to pay it off. That would hurt every month.

That is pretty much what I was thinking. I guess I'll have to slap a canopy on the old Sutphen.

If your serious about racing I will hook you up with a boat and sponsor you for the rest of the season with oss.The ADRENALINE RUSH Activator 27 has the potential to win.I just dont have the time to dial it in.Any of the v-lite guys can give you history on this boat and what I've done to it.I would even run a couple of races with you.You will not find a better group of guys to go race with, they will even help you make this boat competitive.Believe me! These guys are a Blast! on and off the course
