Everyone is invited to race in Kenner
In order to help teams attend this race in honor of Al Copeland, OSS will waive the boat and team registration fees for any team that has a current registration with any other racing organization for 2008.

Are you saying any open cockpit boat in P class racing? Is there a purse? what rules (OPA)?
I love the idea of more boats. Will there be a Sat. race with the extra classes?
We need more details to bring the masses of racers. Big Al has touched all of our teams if you are a race Team. Think of the party's,Trophies,and his racing legacy and ask yourself how cool was this guy? He was so cool he served hot food to thousands of race teams in Key West year after year. He was not racing and still gave and gave. This will be a race to remember year after year because big Al NEVER gave up on his passion for racing boats. We should all honor such a great man and make this race the big one! Support the man who has supported you year after year!

If there's enough interest in P Class racing, we can probably ask our friends at POPRA to run a P CLass race on Saturday.
What other P-Class teams would like to attend?
Kenner is next to New Orleans.

Everyone is excited to see a second turbine boat on the race course. Gieco, Bud Light, CRC and JBS. We'll give you four boats the race course all to yourselves. Just be safe out there!

Stan and I will be running in the Cat Lite class. We are very excited to be able to participate in an event that honors Big Al's legacy. I think Randy said it best, support the man who supported racing for a live time.
