Not if I can help it. I've got a ticket on my desk for the - would you believe it - ROWING event. That comes courtesy of the parents of Eleanor Logan who is the equivalent of a HP 525in the US Women's Eight. Her folks are my guests. Guess I have to go & watch if she makes the finals. Otherwise I stay clear.

The Olympics had a negative effect on my favorite sport, and all the female athletes in that discipline had to leave town before the event ....
