Hey Wil, what a great job of driving both of the Popeyes boats, You was hooked up boy. Tell Stan to get you some more speed. Never did get up with either one of you at OB. Were you hanging at now that P-13 is closed? We can have a cold one before it get's cold.

Thank you for those kind words, Our SVL was running good, we just had minor problems that kept us from finishing but we had great battles in the turns. It was a WILD RIDE !!!! All the teams in SVL are extremely competitive and generous at the same time.
In the BIG boat or SCL, you are correct we need a little more speed but the good news is that the boat is on its way to X site for a little work. Stan's nickname is ANIMAL. There is a reason for it. Bob Teague told Stan that in the second race there was less than 6 inches between all three boats(Peppers,Amsoil and Popeyes) that's as close as you want to be. It just shows the confidence each team has in themselves and the guys next to them. We will get them next time. Are you going to Lotto?

Didn't know that was Stan's nickname, I'll remmember that. Orange Beach is our last race of the year for Debbie and I. We make Biloxi, Kenner, and Orange Beach, then put a Carolina holiday in there and all my vacation is gone. Are you going to stay in Louisiana, If so let's get a cold one when your not hooked up.

It's always a blast watching you guys work. The OB race was one of the most enjoyable I've seen.

Thanks for the memories!

If you missed the thread in GD, I've got a set of pix from the weekend up on flickr- click here to see them.

Those are some awesome shots. I thought nobody got the one where we were in the air side ways after Typhoon slammed the door on us. Thank you soooo much. I had my eyes closed and wanted to make sure I did not dream it.
