You were going to race in Destin for your Wolrds....you were already going to spend the money for gas, hotel rooms, abd spending money, the only thing more you are spending is the fee's...your fee's are not 10k.....I will give you the advice of a board member of OSS once told me....If you cannot afford to race...you should not be racing and don't blame everyone else....and again...that came from a OSS board member....

Jim...like I told Ron P on the phone the other day.....I will not start a thread and bust OSS or his racers....but I will jump in if your guys start on another racer or Org....
So YES...I do support SBI/APBA....I have been since the BOYCOT....I race in both SBI/APBA and OPA....We had 3 racers scheduled to race this year....and this year will be the first year that we did not at least do 3 SBI/APBA races due to mechanical issues with the boat....and the Coast Gaurd picked those races...but even they understand that machanical issues happen......So were do I not support SBI/APBA and just use them for there Worlds..and by the way...I pay all the fee's to SBI/APBA and don't cry about it........so what hatchets am I throwing at SBI/APBA.....

Frank...I agree...I have heard a lot of OSS racers are coming down....but without the SVL....then I guess it won't be Unified....

lets break this down ....just for a moment.
From what I gather, its 1,600 annual boat reg. 350 per riding crew. 1,675 race reg. = $3,975 per team.
now.............
can some one please me tell what the purse is in V limited? I can't find it anywhere. Lets assume there are 10 boats.

Jim...go back and read the post were it started...I asked Aqua...why he felt that paying only the entre fee's is plentey of money when JC has to PAY FOR HIS SAFETY....and gives you 3 days of racing, 2 days of testing and prise money....thats when Mike jump in with his issue about safety...
The funny thing is that no one has answered that question...
Again...if you go back threw this thread...you will see some of us on hear are just answering questions that OSS racers are asking.....

Bruce...Frank can tell you exacted...but from what I remember on SVL and SV and V unlimited...IF there is 10 boats I beleive with the bonus money for the 10 boats its around 8 to 10k.... paid out over 1st - 5th place
But more importantly....you would be paid for the 2009 season when if we all work together and OSS dose a joint race with SBI/APBA they would only have to pay the entre fee....
