APBA Super Vee Lite Twin
#5
Nigel hook and Ettore are running our in-line package in sv light. The class is a cost effective, slower, safer version of Super Vee. Nigel told me the fuel savings alone are tremendous just getting 87 octaine insted of 110.
The Utz boat is the one that Reggie flipped last year, it was running in SBI last year and APBA this year so I would say there is no difference.

Dredgeking,
Nothing in SBI yet. We don't advertise so its hard to sell. We spend a lot of time on R&D and not much on production, yet. Tommy Bahama is running our transmissions and we have 2 new boats coming out of MTI and I don't know were they will be racing, yet.
Rumrunner,
We are racing the drives in SVL because they were banned out of Super Cat. We are making some changes to the patterns to accomidate a new gimble arrangement (no stainless) more steering and trim for pleasure use. The drives were done for racing on cats so we sharpened the bullet for Vee type hulls. It has been a long process getting people interested. The big companys make it impossible for us by buying out the sport and taking away advertising credits for the people and companys that want something different.
Last year we built another drive called WMD. It has been testing this year and we will be putting out something about it soon. We are building our arsenal for the coming years. We are digging in for the long fight. We will keep you posted.
I should be at the worlds in Key West and maybe in New Orleans.
