Looks like I might be the lone Jersey Boy in Marathon. Can't pass up APBA and the points for F2. We should have all the bugs & Water? out of the boat and be ready to put on a show. Guys good luck in Ft Myers. But I personally will not run another SBI event until I get paid the money they owe me from 2002. I busted my butt along with others to travel all over and make sure SBI got their check before we went in the water but all we've gotten from them is unkept promises. Being that we were the Northeast Champs you would have figured they would care, but maybe if they realize they can collect 2 entry fees for F1-70 & F2-13 they might do what is right. ... Just my 2 cents.
But look foward to seeing everyone in Marathon and good luck to the guys who go to Ft. Myers.:eek:

Not disgruntled just stating facts so none of the new guys get hurt. Yes we do this for the love of the sport but alot of new guys really think there is a big payoff. This way they don't go down to any races, pay their entrance and figure that they will place atleast third and break even. Since even if they come in first they are still going home with only the thrill of winning and a $20 (maybe ) checkered flag.
I have a whole bunch of flags and trophies in my basement but thankfully I have a great job to pay for my bills since lord knows "the money pit" is there strictly for my fun.
I would also like to thank Gecko Imported Tequila & Snoop Dog for helping me with everything since a good sponsor is your best friend, not a Company who wants everything from the racers and gives nothing in return. Mad Dog your always on the money ,, Does it hurt always being right?
Audacity can't wait to see you guys again , it was nice meeting your whole team in Daytona.

you aren't the only one that didn't get paid from last year. I agree with everything you said about SBI. I have raced there for 3.5 years every race and was told I don't have the money and if you don't want to race with us I don't care!!
Well I am not racing with him and I live in Miami. I guess I could of made it 19 boats. Oh Yeah he told me he would take my entry fees off the money he owes me.

As if there is a question as to where we will be. APBA rules!!!!!!!! I keep telling you all how can you call it a race in SBI? You need at least 2 boats in a class to call it a race.:eek: No pay check no boat of mine.Im funny that way.

Dave It was a pleasure working with you in Daytona and look forward to doing so in the future, but with the same date scenario I will be in Ft Myers. Wherever the June race ends up(for ABPA) I will be there. I got your plaque in Miami as requested so give me a buzz and we will make arangements. I am glad to hear everything is set to go for Marathon and as great as the Donzi teams are, I hope you get your nose up in there and bring a win back to the Gecko Cigarette.


As far as the two circuits are concerned, I am glad I am just a peon crewman and I dont have to deal with the politics of them. APBA has been good to me and so has SBI. I just love racing and being apart of the family. So as much as work will permit me I will be at the races for both circuits and hope to catch some Jersey races.
I want to thank Bruce, Paul, Glenn, Randy, Wyatt, John, Reggie, Augie, Val, and Dave for everything. You guys might not know it, but I have learned so much from you. And who can forget Frank and Scott! You guys took me from a know-it-all punk kid and turned me into someone that at least has a clue. You guys have groomed me and it is a pleasure and a honor to represent Xtreme Racing.
