My partner Mark said if I get ejected out of the boat the Manatee spoter would stop the race......I think he's calling me fat. Here in Va. is PETA's headquarters an if they knew I was racing who knows they might come out and protest on my shop so I changed the spelling alittle.....I did'nt know changing 2 letters was so far off.

By the way Mark is getting with Bob Eubanks to see if he has a carb for Shane. I think there F1 boat is.

There are already 7 F1 boats signed up for Marathon. If we can get:

Flashwave
Shane

that's 13 and the money not to mention if we can get 1 or 2 more Great Lakes boats along with getting Bob Cristi back in F1 if their's more money in it......and if someone leases my boat for a race or 2 we can have a 16+ boat class again. I'm duing all I can to get more sponsorship money for the class. I think if I can get $10,000 for 15 boats and pay 1st-9th the F1 class will be back.

I believe Superboat is coming unless anyone knows different. Eddie would know what have you heard Eddie?

There are at least 22 F1 boats out there what will it take to get these guys out to race, I still hear B.J. is not coming down either...maybe after all the trash talking he did on TV he'll have to show up. If some of these F1 teams will tell us what it will take maybe we can go to work on getting it done. Without alot of boats and good TV coverage its hard to get big money from sponsors.

Gino it shouldn't be the money. With the APBA purse and the bonus money you have added and the contingency money from Merc. this can be a real nice pay day. Are the rest of these boats just not racing or do they feel they cant compete or what. There is a golden opportunity for some P4 and P5 teams to step up. Now is your chance for exposure and some real money. There is the potential to win $35,000 in F1 in a season so for all you P4 and P5 guys I don't know what your potential earnings are in those class's might be? I'm not an accountant but the math sure looks good in F1 and then you throw in some sponsor money and I think your missing the boat.
There are several F1 boats for sale including mine. These are all world class contenders at $50,000 and up. Not bad considering what your are getting and the possibility of where you can go. You already have the expense of traveling to the races why not increase your odds of paying for the sport your in.
