They are very close to the cranes and the wet pits. Plus right off the strip. Kind of relaxing. How much do they get a night? Maybe I'll book there too.

Bruce & Peconic.... the Crystal Point hotel is OK...nothing fancy. Very close to the pits and launch area. The really good thing about the Crystal point is the large parking area will accomodate rigs & boats. It is quiet and off the main strip in Point. If you are looking at staying someplace "fancier" try the White Sands Spa in Point Beach. On the strip...within walking distance to Jenkinsons (for those drunken nights) and the ocean is 100 yrds away. Never stayed there but I have been told it is nice....good luck!!

Hey Chris, Ill talk to Eric but I'm sure he will want to run in Point. I grew up watching that race, Its the reason I'm racing offshore powerboats today! Ive been reading a lot about the Jersey boys and look forward to meeting and competing with them. Maybe we could get some of them who are having boat trouble to strap in to a few bat boats.
