Default Anouncer At Point!

If they have a speaker at Point I would like to do the play by play.

If Randy does the play-by-play, then I absolutely HAVE to wire a FM radio into the intercom.

The question is: Do you have the technology. I radio info to the DJ from the Pace Boat. But its not the same as an on board radio link. It's easy to do on any VHF channel. Your com system should just plug into the radio.

Jenks always has a PA and the DJ does an OK job from what I understand. At least he has a good voice. They also do a nice job playing the National Anthem as the boats roar out the inlet.

And I just spoke to Mike Fusco today (JetSet). He'll be on the bay this weekend and is looking forward to doing a flame show in the inlet proir to having the boats come out. The fans loved it last year.

Randy, I'm on the water so I can only suggest that if you don't race, then just walk up to the announcer and ask if he wants some help. We need someone who knows the players. He's got a list of boats and names but its not personal knowledge like you have.

Only problem....you might need to be sober....

OIC, it's not via a local station ... forget the Jenk-White Trash patch. (Kirk is breathing a sigh of relief ...)

As far as do I have the technology ... this is a tiny part of my basement, the White Trash Labs:
