Factory meeting part II

Lets not waste any time on needless topics that we can pole here! Peconic could post the agenda again?
As for the course it is what it is based on location. The days of 10 mile courses is over boys get used to it. If we are to stay in front of the spectators I'm for even shortening it up even more.Wouldn't it be great to lap people! It would be more exciting.
Did we have props as a topic? How about running only 5 blade props? That would help reduce the cost of testing for all and should be a mores stable prop.
Gas prices,WOW. there is always a line at the pump and I think we would be doing them a favor buy buying at a local station.
What else teams,we are getting close

one motor and drive package sounds good as long as the cost is with in the teams reach, i like the idea of building the 500 hp to the same horsepower as the 525's as long as it was done cost effective, this would let the guys running the 525's stay the same and let us other guys catch up, how about it innovation lets hear some input from you, you need to speak up as well, while we are at it when innovation dynos the motor show us the sheets on our motors and our fellow racers, this should keep innovation honest with their work, and prove to all of us we are very close to the same hp, if one motor is low on hp fix it and crank up the hp, seems fair. weight is a major topic some testing would have to be done before we could set a one weight limit, take our corsa weighs 4100 lbs if we need to add 500lbs the boat would sink. so the weight needs to be figured out fair for everybody, if we go with the option of tunning up the old 500hp's we might attract some of the older boats, and make it affordable for other teams to start racing again.

just some thoughts

one engine, one weight, one drive, one prop, theoretically we should all be able to run one prop!short courses are fine by me as long as the boat count stays down on them, and the speeds dont run outa control!why is it all the other jersey skifss, formula boats all run one class at a time, races wont take as long, people would live, and spectators could see alot more, spend alot more and be more inticed!instaed of them sitting in traffic for forty five minutes to get there to pay to have the races over in less that an hour or hour and a half!

We only raced 6 lap heats in skiffs on a 1.25 mile course
4 heats per weekend so the raced were short.

I think 2 25 mile heats would be good.

LOWER ENTRY FEES!!!!!!
