Sunsation Powerboats raises $10,000.00 for Make A Wish Foundation
On the weekend of July 20th Sunsation Powerboats held their annual customer Rally. This year was very special as it was also the 25th Anniversary of the company.
There were over 60 boats from all over the country in attendance for 2 days of fun and great food. The weather could not have been better. The attendees enjoyed a BBQ on registration day and a catered lunch during the fun run on lake Sinclair. That night a catered pig roast was served to all.
The event was held at Metro Beach Park in Detroit and included many activities for young and old alike. Many vendors were in attendance including Mitcher T and Michael and Stephanie McLeod along with others.
Sunsations owners Wayne and Joe Schaldenbrand always exceed peoples expectations and the rally was no different.
This year the rally raised Ten Thousand Dollars for the Make A Wish Foundation.
All of the Sunsation Team worked very hard to put this event on, but none of us expected to raise the amount of money that we did. There was a raffle, and an auction to help raise money for these deserving children. 5 families were able to bring their kids to the event and got to ride on one of the 2 43 F-4 Sunsations at the rally. The look on the kid’s faces made all of the hard work well worth the effort.
Thanks go out to all who attended and opened their wallets and their hearts to these great kids.
