Great! Great! Great! best venue of the year so far. Dania here we come. I remember something about a Tomato fight on the event schedule......Who's in?

Shannon & I did not race at Sarasota so that we could get a behind the scenes look at what it takes to put on a National Series Event. What an education. So many details go into putting on a race, its almost mind-boggling.

The SBI/APBA National Team is a well-oiled machine with many members who get very little recognition for their hard work. These folks are at every race and do everything from putting air into the race pylons to icing down cold drinks for dehydrated racers. Did you ever wonder who puts out signs or sets up the chairs for the drivers meeting?

We should all take a moment to say thanks to Ritch, Jim, Clay, David, Dee, Bill, Jessie, Crystal, Jane, Dwayne, Dick, Cindy, and all the others (there are just too many to list) that make sure everything is in its place and everything gets done so the show can go on. Next race, when you see someone wearing a SBI/APBA shirt or tee shirt….tell them how much you appreciate them and what they do for offshore racing
