Kelly,
If you have access to the Charter, Platinum, Gold forum there is a video. It's on the Apache Video that has some pretty good footage of your Dad and Dick's boat, Still Crazy from the 1985 season.

What do you guys think of that video, I think they got a little carried away with the animation. Isn't the racing excitment enough, why they had to twirl the boats and fuz the color is a mystery to me. Perhaps it would be easier for Kelly to see her Dad race if she saw the orginial video, do you know if there is one around.

Re: Who knew Mike Pappa?
I've tried finding over video footage but haven't had much luck. I emailed the 2 websites that were posted on this thread but never heard back from them, so they must not have footage. A short time ago someone emailed me that they had video footage of that race and would try to find it, so hopefully she will find it! I tried watching the video on here best I could but the media player kept stopping to buffer the video so it kept pausing. I did see the segments of Dad racing, which was incredible.

Re: Who knew Mike Pappa?
I just wanted to say thanks again for all the help everyone was able to give me! I just got an email from someone yesterday about my Dad. She was apparently on Corvetteforum.com. Packinair, a member of OSO and that forum had a thread posted about powerboat racing. She replied to him that she knew Dick Fullam and the Still Crazy crew so he immediately PMed her and gave her all my information. She emailed me and told me that her parents used to be friends with Dick so would travel around to many of the races they were in. She said she is sure that her parents have stories and picures. Thanks to Packinair for mentioning me and my posts....if it wasn't for this board, I wouldn't have amazing people like you helping me! Thanks again!!
