Hello OPA Racers,

The first race of the OPA season is just 10 days away. June 3rd and 4th in Algonac Michigan. If you need help with hotels, visit the schedule page of www.oparacing.com and click on the Algonac links. It's a beautiful little town that is very excited about having offshore racing return to their shores. Guaranteed, people will line the shores of the river with where ever possible. Algonac will quickly become one of your favorite race sites.

There will be no fuel truck in Algonac, so please bring your boat to the race site full of fuel. If you need high octane fuel, we can provide it in barrels at a local marina. If you need fuel in 55 gallon drums, please reply to this email ASAP and let us know how many gallons and what octane you need. Also include your phone numbers so we can contact you regarding payment and deliver location.

For the Point Pleasant race, we can get the Sunoco truck to come, but there are so few boats that buy from him, its hasn't been worth his time. We would like to provide fuel in Point Pleasant but we need to hear your support. If the 93 octane fuel is only a quarter a gallon more than at the pumps, would you buy it from the fuel truck? There's a value to having fuel available at the race sites and if half of the boats will buy from the truck, then we'll get him to come. Please reply to this email and let us know your boat name, and how many gallons of what octane fuel you'll purchase from the truck. No need to reply if you don't plan on buying fuel from the Sunoco truck.
