Mentor Race Schedule of events???
#1
I'm trying to make flight arrangements for the Mentor Race and I need to know when the first mandatory drivers meeting is on saturday?? I looked at other races and some were at 10:00a.m. Saturday morning, others were 4:00p.m. saturday afternoon.
Also, when does the boat need to be there?? Friday afternoon, evening for any kind of display????
Right now I think the boat will arrive sometime Friday afternoon and I'll fly in on Friday night around 10p.m.
How long does it take to get from the Cleveland airport to Mentor???
Thanks in advance, the sooner I find out these things the better!!

Keep an eye on the GLOPRA website...
www.glopra.com
The race pack is now online there as of 6/20, and is also available on the OPA website as well
From Cleveland Hopkins airport to MHYC is about 40 miles and anywhere from 45 minutes to ??, depending on traffic and construction on the interstates.
Some people have asked what Lake Erie is like and what sort of setup is required -- well, that depends on what the lake is doing that particular moment. Bring all of your tricks, you may need them. The Lake can (and will) change very quickly.

If your there on Sat morning, you'll be fine.
Anyone from the team can be at the Saturday meeting. The Sunday meeting must have the boat occupants in attandance.

I remember good old Lake Erie from back in the day when I raced with Gordo in Factory 1. Which way the winds blow has a lot to do with how those 2 to 4's to seem turn into holes that are more like 6 to 8's
I've had some fun on Lake Erie!!!

If you are flying into Hopkins, it will take you at least an hour to get from the airport to Mentor, OH.
I will be there, but I will not be racing.
