RAYLAR Engines and ....

AMF/LaveyCraft P5-13 looking to own the World Championship in Destin.

I am very happy to announce our newest sponsor; RAYLAR Engines. Many of you are familiar with RAYLAR performance products, but may not know that RAYLAR has been slowly evolving from a performance parts supplier for 496 motors to a full engine build shop producing a 525, 600 and 750 based on the 496 block. RAYLAR offers a complete engine exchange program that allows 496 engine owners to upgrade to a RAYLAR production engine at a fraction of the cost of a similar Mercury product.

While RAYLAR has hundreds of its 496 upgrade kits sold and in service, racing their production HO 525 motor will further prove the performance and quality of their engine products. We are very excited to team it up with our incredible LaveyCraft and know that we will be a very tough team to beat. Check out the RAYLAR web site Click Here

RAYLAR has made a serious commitment to our team and we intend to put our boat in the winners circle in Destin. The newly powered Team AMF/Raylar/LaveyCraft will run 2 POPRA races (Pittsburgh and Las Vegas) in September prior to the World Championship Races in Destin.

Thank you Ray and Larry for the opportunity and look forward to seeing you at the races.

Kevin and I plan on running both boats while in destin. After the Orange Beach race we will be spending all of our free time with both boats getting needed test time.

Kevin is pretty excited about getting to run the old F1 boat again; and noboby can set that boat up like he can. We'll be the fastest 74.99 MPH boat out there!

Looks like we'll be getting help from some of the LaveyCraft shop crew and were hoping Ray will also make to Destin giving us plenty of help to pull this off.

Ray is building us an HO 525. We delivered him our 490 HO motor that we ended up cracking the the block on last year in Sarasota and he will use the accessories and electronics from that motor. This is what his motor exchange program was set up for and now we'll get a chance to see how good it is.

Ray seems pretty excited about getting back out to the races, it will be great to have him there.
