We have had a couple of rooms open up for that weekend over the last 24 hours. We have been sold out for a while, but when I left work tonight we had a couple of rooms available. Go online to see the room types and descriptions. You can book from the web site 24 hours a day with a Master Card or Visa at http://www.commanderhotel.com. The other option is to call our reservations office any time from 9am until 9pm daily at (888) 289-6166. We have/had the following available.

For Thursday, Fridaay and Saturday nights only:

- (2) Oceanview Suites Handicapped (handicapped accessible rooms with 2 double beds and a sleep sofa with ocean off the left side of the balcony).

- (1) Oceanview Efficiency (1 queen bed with ocean off the left side of the balcony)

- (2) Oceanfront Suites (2 double beds and a sleep sofa directly facing the ocean)

Rooms available for Saturday and Sunday nights only.

- (4) Cabana Suites (two double beds and a sleep sofa overlooking the outdoor pool) You may have to call to book these 4 rooms. They may not be availalbe online because the online system will generally only allow a weekend reservation of three nights or more once our availability gets low for any given weekend

Rooms available for Saturday night only:

- (1) Oceanfront Suite (same description as above)

- (2) Oceanview Efficiencies (same description as above)

- (1) Navigator Suite (2 double beds and a sleep sofa with the ocean off the left side of the balcony)

With any of these rooms open for less than 3 nights, the reservationist may have to get the manager to book it to over ride the 3 night booking rule explained above. Like with the two night reservations, these rooms may not be available online for the same reason. Call the reservations office via telephone for these rooms.

Between the high school seniors here for beach week and other events happening the same weekend, these won't stay available very long. I will be out of the office all day tomorrow, but if we get any more cancellations between now and race weekend I will post them here.
