I hate to quote our mortal enemies but if OPA goes "Strictly Business" goes.
Louie

PS I hope we are talking about 08'? this year might be tight for a squeeze in.
. . . . yea I believe our transom washed up right next to your stringers and bulkheads. Actually i didnt think you "attacked instantly" because your slow at that to

I have raced in a few of the Ohio River events and had a blast down there, its tight thats for sure. Its a diferent kind of course that translates into some great close racing.

Room! for boats and trucks, and yes rooms for sleeping too. big Motel in Mt Clemens 10 minutes away.

I could help get some info. on it if we wanted, A freind of mine runs Boat Town USA which is an organization that sets up events in Harrison Twp. which is where Metro is located. We are also very involved with the Sheriff Marine Division on Lk St Clair. I run a poker run in July out here and everybody goes out of their way to help me set it up. This will be 8 years in a row with no problems. 65 boats registerd last yr.

yes if i remember correctly. it was a few years ago but i remember it being a bit narrow, but yes similar to Algonac at about a quarter mile wide. at the time the current was just about as fast to but i think that was largely dependant on rainfall. it was a very fun race to say the least and the town really got behind it.
