I was the closest spectator boat to the spin out I seen it all. It sounded like maybe they lost a drive, prop, engine or something just before they spun. It just barely made it over back to right side up. The othet guy I was with got some shots on his camera. I will see if I can get them soon. It was a pretty scary roll being that close. The drivers seemed Ok but it was very violent.

Not sure if Augie made the trip or not. Go see Papa Dukes, the rest of the boyz can't be far away. |
There is a tremendous amount of effort right now by alot of people to get WANTED back in the game for tomorrow.
As of now, both engines are running... I hear Tyler is bringing a motor in for Papa Dukes too! Already alot of hurt powerplants and damaged boats here... Is this the Worlds or what? I feel I was watching a race today.......:D :D :D |
and i know a few people that were complaining about a flat water race...hmmmmmmm
good luck to all |

Papa Dukes - Putting in an engine from Tyler Crockett Cintron - Had issues but are now resolved. Learning the Ropes - Boat is unable to compete due to the damage from testing. Wanted - Engines were running as of last night. Now just fuel and electrical to be dealt with. Should be able to make the race..... That's all I can think of right now..... |

I think Sun Sport is a Formula.
RaceGirl said she's sick of coming in last. Next race its a new motor and Crockett is going down. |
No guy's, didn't make this one, still too soon. My head just ain't in the game just yet but I hope to be back for Point Plesant. Thank you all for all the kind words, thoughts and support for my family and I. A lot of hard work went into this event and Smitty and Evil Ed Smith didn't bother me too much with getting things done for this fantastic event due to the untimely deaths of my parents so let them know, wheather it's positive or negitive. And I'm glad everyone is OK after Saturdays mishaps. After all is said and done as Haggin says, UNITED WE RACE!

Cat Xtreme
1. Geico 2. Bud Select |
I heard Reliable checked out and was running with the extreme boats. JD Byrider threw a blade.
And I think Whittier won. I do not know if that was final. pat W |
Hi Augie!
A lot of race fans asking about the God Father of the Jersey Boyz and miss you. This was another great Offshore Powerboat Race and everybody did a fantastic job putting this race together and all should be commended. United We Race was definatley proved today with all the Teams that showed up. Take Care Augie, we all feel for you. |
It was not a good day for Wahoo, on the far north end they rolled. Glassdave and Dean Wahoo ATV thankfully are ok, cosmetic damage from a distance (seemed) mild, hope that's the case.
Tom A's Reliable Boat was not in the same class as Bud and Geico. Tom took the checkered flag for the second year in a row. The Bud/Miss Geico race was the crowd favorite, up until the last few laps Bud had most of the lead, they would race neck and neck down the straight aways, but Bud had the inside position and would pull out in front on the turns. Eventually Geico found an opening and ran ahead for perhaps the last two laps. I can't wait to see the rematches these two team are sure to have. You could tell how much the crowd loved the Miss Geico team, the AMF clothing trailer was mobbed after the race, people were buying everything. Then in the middle of the street in the mob, Scott walks by us, I stopped to talk with him and in a second a bunch of kids mobbed him for his autograph. Afterwards Ian and I were laughing, here Scott is part of the biggest entourage in St Clair and he had to hoof it back to his base camp:D It was also great to see Traffic Light take the flag for the second year in a row, On the chips had a real wide lead for the first couple of laps but the Ed said after he burnt up some fuel he was able to catch up, of course OTC's spin helped Ed & Sean take it away. Val from Augies boat rode third seat with them, so it was JersyBoyz meat MI Mafia:D It was real nice to see Wanted place second. If you could have seen the boat on Saturday, by the time they got it to the lift, there was only a few feet of bow sticking straight up, almost the whole boat was under waters:eek: It is a true testament to team friendship I think almost the whole JersyBoyz crew was up well past midnight wrenching. St Clair was an amazing race, thanks to everyone that raced, that was on a crew, and those that worked behind the scenes to put on what is turning into about the best Offshore Race of the season. It was nice to see the United We race Shirts and stickers. |
Glad to hear they are ok, thanks for the updates.

Team Octane
Hi guys
The boat ran great saturday during testing. We decided to start the race on the outside lane being our first race. We ran hard to turn 3 and 4, passed a couple boats and then the 525 went into guardian mode so we pulled off course. It really sucked!!!! We got a sensor alert for the map idle sensor after about 30min of hanging out waiting for the tanker to get off the course while waiting to start the race. We are going to see if we can send out the ecm to have the guardian mode turned off. We plan on running all of the OPA race's for the rest of the season. Hopefully we will have better luck in NY. It was great getting to meet everyone though and the dunk test was a blast. Scott and Ed TEAM OCTANE 411 |

TEAM OCTANE 411 EXCELLENT!! I heard alot of good comments being made about your boat in the pits. Will be great to get a chance to see you run again. Btw, I agree .... the dunk test was pretty cool. I was gettin nervous about doin it and Dean called me a wuss. That was all the motivation I needed to do it. Definitely glad I did. :cool-smiley-011: |

ERIE MONSTER
The ERIE MONSTER ran great in testing on saturday. sunday we almost couldn't get on plane and barely broke 78MPH. After 4 laps we smelled fuel and the engine shut off. That was a giant bummer!!!! opened the hatch and found the fuel filter had cracked and there was about 4 gallons of race fuel in the bilge!!! We're lucky the boat didn't blow up. Anyways it was a blast (no pun intended) to race and we hope to be in NY for the next race!! Eric and Dave, ERIE MONSTER RACING |
had a great time this group of racer's are the best to race party and relaxe with see ya all soon
