You guys are in a tough spot, but when the going gets tough the tough get going!! When the Nazi's bombed Pearl Harbor, did General Grant give up? When the French attacked Switzerland, did the 300 Spartans turn and run? Never!! Besides, the picture of your boat haulin ass was just sent to the printer for the program, think of all the little kids you'll be letting down be not making it. The only thing I ever gave up at was history lessons. Seriously, you guys could be the Cinderella Story of the Patchogue Race, If you need anything let us know. If you can't get the boat together come anyway, it's gonna be a good one. Louie

ERIE MONSTER is out for the race also. Had a 1/4 turn fastener that holds the windage tray bouncing around in the engine. It killed the pistons and eventually got caught in the timing chain and snapped it. lots of bent valves. I'm gonna make the motor a little tamer and reliable. We'll see how long that takes.
