Right now we are just waiting for the engine sponsor....we should have a answer in a few more days....we will be running a 450 hp that will put us around 75 mph...50k full race package....every boats will be rigged exactly a like...even down to the props....we will have a ruff water prop and a calm water prop....no mods at all....we will be running on a 3 mile course with approx 1.25 mile legs...so the fans can see the whole race from one area....it will be set up like the IROC Series....but will also be a boat you can take your family out on also....as soon as the engine sponsor is signed...I will be purchasing the first hull that is all ready for sale....The one in the pic up of is Tyler C. Joker that will also be rerigged to race with us....with Brian H building the 3rd boat...there will be prise money and contingency money are each race....plan is to run on Sat with OPA and you then can run the same boat in Class 6 with OPA on Sunday.....if your interested please feel free to call me or e-mail for more info....

I know Offshore racing is kind of dangerus but they bring it to a totaly new dimension.

I am guessing the new class will be a sterndrive setup. Who will be doing the motors will they be sealed? I have to admitt the outboards are cool. what will they push the joker to for speed.

I have a engine builder I have not made public yet bet will as soon as we sign the engine manufacture....I look at the outboards....and talk with 2 manufactures about the Series....for the HP needed and reliability...I choised to go with a stern drive....we will be going with a Bravo XR....the cost maxuses out but the reliability will be there....working on a deal right now on the XR.....we will be running 450 hp.....that will put us right around 75 mph.....these boats can take the turn at 75 mph...so no need for long strieght aways to excelerate....
