the response to this post has been great, I want to help everyone, there has been some grat offers from a great group of people, I want to get into offshore racing and want to help others in the sport thru my business and my experience, I will be getting back to eveyone and may be sponsering several boats this up coming year, the only thing no one has offered is free beer, that would seal the deal

What I would suggest is go to some of the sites and mingle with the teams and see how it feels and who you like. I think if you're interested in helping the sport is sponcer the OPA as a group of racers. I'm sure all teams can use extra funds to help them race. But unless you have a favirot team, it's going to be a very hard choice. Also, look what AMF has done. They support all the teams and the gratitude towards them is secound to none. Some teams would not even be out there if they weren't there. Try calling Smitty or someone in the AMF camp for that idea.
