Default Calling out all bat boats

In conjunction with the Long Beach POPRA race, my sponsor, Signs for Less, has just offered POPRA $1000 for a winner take all Bat Boat Challenge (V-24's only).

If you have one, know of one, can borrow one, come on out.

I will be working out the details with Kevin very soon, but I know there are a few out there. Come show us what you are made of and kick our butts and take our money.

377, Volvo, Bravo, DuoProp, it does not matter this is a run what you brung.

If you are going to attend please let me know, I would like to use our numbers to negotiate some additional bat boat race sponsorship with the local businesses if possible.

See you in July,

Rick

I will make you a deal, you come run Long Beach and I will come to St. Clair.

Let me ask you a question, how much tow money would entice you to come $250-300? Maybe we can find it somewhere.

The POPRA dates are:

April 25-27 Lake Havasu, Az 1st annual (100% done) ( with OPA & OSS I hope); will now be the same weekend as Spring Heatwave in an attempt to get some of the poker run guys to race with us

July 11-13 Long Beach, CA 97th Anniversary (100% done) This is the Catalina Island race.

August 15-17 Orange Beach (with OSS)

Sept 5-7 Pittsburg, Ca 24th annual (100% done)

Sept 12-14 San Diego Bay Fair Hydros (100% done)

September 26 - 28 LOTO (with OSS)

Las Vegas Oct 50% done

Worlds TBD Nov??

Rick, I was going to run my Pantera in the Rum Run, but let me know if you're looking for some ballast in the driver's seat of your bat!

Thank you for the invite, but its not so much $ more schedule. OPA has a race that weekend. Come to St Clair anyway and may be we can come up with tow $ for you. I hear your V24 is very nice.

Chris, I sent you an email a couple weeks ago after we talked on the phone, but hadn't heard back. I'll email again as a follow up.

Chris might have limited internet access right now. He is out west doing some promotional stuff with the boats on Firebird lake in Arizona. I will mention it to him that you are trying to reach him.
