stained seats
 

I trashed my driver seat last night out testing. I had a black magic marker in my pocket and ink bleed all over my new seat . I have tried everything from laquor thinner to a steam cleaner. I'm so pissed off I recked my seat. Any ideas how to get this stain out? :(

Put a sticker over it.

that's what some of the guys in the shop said . others said f... it, its a race boat.

when you get a chance just have a upholstery guy do the seat....usally the seat cushion comes out and take it to him.....

If it is a Sharpie try using isopropyl or ethyl alcohol.

Summit sells a Vinyl Paint that works pretty good. It may be the least expesive alternative.

Try hair spray.

Was it maybe "Blackish Brown" ???

spray lysol air freshner on it in the old days we used it to change the stamped price on can foods good luck

My wife did that on my Scarab seats and it worked great! You can still see the Permeant Marker but it cleaned up 80% of it.

Someone said WD40 works too but I never tried it.
