I know about St.Clair and it is a great place to shoot, as for Harrison, I may be there, however will not bother to drag along all my equipment if everything is too far offshore.

Pete, we have approval in Ocean City next year to move the coarse in. They decided to close the beaches. Last year we parked a race boat on the beach, it made a tough argument.

I understand the city caused this, all I am saying is to all who attend they want to see a race, while its great if on a turn boat or Helo. for the average fan or someone who doesnt have connections. it would leave for a bit of a disappointment.
while most that attend races are the casual observer, the hardcore fan, Photographers, etc want be up close.

I can handle a couple of hundred yards, but 1000 is a bit off.

The best way is to watch from a boat. The water is shallow and the sharp point of the triangle is a sandy beach that drops off slowly. I would go to Beacon Cove if not on a boat.

Well no worries about viewing for Harrison, The GPS # Dean just sent puts the first turn in a parking lot!

Once he sends the right number we will have anything updated. But I was told its around 300yrds offshore and closer in a couple areas.
