Dont be selling yourself to short Gino, you ran one hell of a race and that boat of yours has some serious pull from the corners!

I did not get a chance to watch the start of your race but I did see you work your way up and pass a couple of those cats before you pulled off with problems.

Thanks Rick.....like always the cats get away from us at the starts...but once we go to work in the turns and get deck to deck with them...we can get by them....well all but Bobby....we have never been able to catch him...but for only 4 boats in our class and to have 6 different changes in positions was great racing...there were a number of times we were deck to deck with about 3 to 5 feet between us at 94 mph......but we ran out of gas going into the last lap and we were hoping we miss counted....

Sorry to hear about your fuel pump....
See ya soon....

Who is "we" ? High math = 8 laps x 7.5 mile lap = 59.5 gallons of fuel, + (plus) testing. You & Glenn bought 55 gallon drum.

You guys did your best, and that is what matters! ! ! !

Kitten....but we also had 30 gallons left from the Harrison race when we pulled off on lap 5....and I don't even remember.....I thought we were to do 7 laps on a 7 mile course plus a parade lap....that would explain why we ran out....

Bobby....I thought I seen you guys pull in the rest area..but I thought I was dreaming....since I seen so much of that boat on the race course...I got just over 2 hours sleep there and then made it to Va Beach at 11:30 am and went streight to work and worked to 9 and then went to the gym....I tought the day would never end...that was a long 11 days....I'm spending all day Thurs and Friday in the boat to fix everything....especially the steering....she will be ready for N.Y. so tell Jim to make sure that boat is ready...the next 2 races are Vee water....are you coming to N.Y.

I might come up to New York all depends on what is going on with the work situation. I am going to try and show up at least.

It was sure fun to watch from the wall, loved the lead changes, need to see more of that.
