Word to the wise. You leaned out every motor you put in that boat. Maybe it's not the motor.

A lot of guys dont pay enough attention to fuel delivery. Like a pick up, or a restrictive fuel filter remote, etc. Pistons dont melt all on their own.

Smitty,,just so u know and everybody else ! This only happend in KW because timing was way toooooo high ,,,NEVER EVER check your timing with a digital timing light on a MSD ignition !!!!! U can call MSD (i did) and they actually varyfied that !!!

We set the timing with a digital light @ 36 (racefuel 12:1) and the timing light fooled us ,so we endet up with 54* timing
Thats what melted the piston !!!!

All the other things i had going on befor that was diffrent in nature ,,Crankshaft broke in half,valves hit piston because spring broke,and on and on.
