I have made a decision to stick with the original logo on any images that were taken prior to 2010 .

The 2010 Racing Season's images will sport the new logo if needed.

The name OFFSHORE POWERBOAT ASSOCIATION makes much more sense..i like the latest the version of the logo too.

I personally think the new logo is GREAT. Shows that OPA is moving in the direction of being a marketable entity. While the old one maybe where OPA started and that should never be forgotten, the new logo has a very professional aspect to it. It shows OPA to be a much more marketable entity and I think the new logo can be moved into a very diverse marketing area where offshore racing may not have moved into.

In a time where most Offshore Racing venues seemed to be only a club sport and not making the steps to be a more professional and marketable, I for one have some hope for the future of the sport I truly love. so congratulations to all that have worked on this new step to a brighter future.
