Doc to be honest...usually I have a pretty good handle on who is racing. This year I have so many calls from so many teams, it all becomes a blurr. I'll go through my notes, but I know there are more coming. Testing our Viper Tomorrow. Been a while, can't wait. My favorite Pic. Smitty

Damn She Looks Great !!!!
Finally, after all the years of watching Apaches crushing waves on the race course and off, I finally got my 1st opportunity to get "INSIDE" a (REAL ONE) to really see what these boats are made of !!!
Thanks to Gary of Roger's Speed Shop and Drew of Kurt's Marine for this opportunity for a photo shoot of an incredible boat !
This Apache is being prepared for the upcoming 2010 OPA Racing Season.
The most impressive points are not just the hull structure itself but how this boat was rigged. The thought of building a step right onto the Port Saddle Fuel Tank for easy access in and out of the engine compartment and the hose lines going to angle aluminum for a much easier disconnect when having the need to remove the engines from the boat. All the connections are in one place up on top of the fuel tanks. Brilliant !!!
For a 1986 hull, this boat look great !!!
Sharkey-Images wishes them the best of luck !
