Rick and I put the race on the last two years and with it's success the locals wanted to put it on going forward. I am not sure of it's status at this point and this would be a question best asked of Smitty.

Talked to Smitty last night...he will know if its a go by today or tomorrow....
Guys if they put this together we all should make the best effert we can to do the race....I know it back to back from there to St Clair in a week....but every big show helps us for the following year...
Class 5 guys...if its a go...I will try to help out as much as I can if we can get 7 ot 8 boats there...since they will pay out 1st - 3rd...I will give the remaining boats in the class $200 cash to make the race...its not much...but maybe help out on food or gas...
Once we hear if its a go...we can figure out whos coming and see what we can do to get everyone there...

Good work Dean. I havent heard peep in regards to this race, wish you and rick were still running the show. Is the magazine being done again this year?
