Default St. Clair - what a weekend!

Thanks to everyone involved for a great race weekend. Friday and Saturday's weather wasn't the best, but today couldn't have been better.

It was great to meet the racers and get autographs Saturday night. Thank you!! I could connect names to the faces I have seen over the years. I came through the line towards the end and the drivers were still having fun with it. Looks like many fans took advantage of it.

The races were great as well. My only question is what happened to R-Rated in Super Vee? From my vantage he took the checkered from the flag boat in first. Was there some confusion about the number of laps run? Either way - I thought that was the best race of the day. And 10 boats in Class 5 - amazing.

Thanks again OPA, BWORA and everyone else!

Paul

he spun the boat out badly on the last north turn on the last lap had a huge lead at the time. I also thought he took the checkered before the spin out, guess not

that was some great racing in V. R rated did take a first, they spun out while doing an extra lap.

at that time a lot of us, including the guys in V, thought R Rated spun out on the final lap putting Wazzup back in first. After it was sorted out later it was realized Tyler and Rolf did an extra lap, which a lot us do because its tougher then ya think to keep track of races in the 12 to 15 lap range .

Bill from my view in pace boat #1, turn one, that had to be one of the most violent spins I have seen where the boat drives away. The only thing I saw in the water from R-Rated was the rear view mirror. A few years ago in the OSS St Clair race a black & white beak boat rolled in turn one & still won the race... Was this the same black beak boat ?????

r rated is a black wrap boat the old shogren(white) and earthwerks-global warmer boat. Cross in the patrol boat also said r rated spun hard all by himself in the north turn.
