Are you kiding me? thats only 4 boats in class 5.Does anybody know about Gino,Outrageous,specialized,CWC,dockblood,Reinforc er and the rest of the fleet?

I'm cutting my deck down....changing the bottom and putting in the 710 Ilmor....will try to make it....

There is only one catch....Tony said I have to keep Mark dry....now thats going to be tough...

Eddie said they are coming....and Warren was also going to try to make it....so that will be 3 teams from Va.

There will be 8 to 10 boats in the class there...

We should try to get all the Class 5 guys to stage in the dry pits all together for 1 big team to try to win the best display there....
We don't have the Semi Trucks and all like the big money teams....but we have the most boats in a class...we should put on something together with all our sponsors and have 1 big display....with all of our banners under one big tent of some sort.....

Just a thought....

After Orange Beach were setting her up for the big speed....
We have a little 320 mile run for a record we are doing...with only 1 stop for fuel...or if we get approved...will just jettison a couple of tanks

Ill garuntee our 27 Krypto with 700hp will do over 90 if and when propped out. But who cares going 75 is the goal! lol

Gino, it was fun. Tyler & I were talking about having a mini shoot out next year with you,Boomer, gary cook,<old Veloicity>,and any other O.P.A. boats that want to settle the score. the lake of the ozarks is a grreat place to do it. we have our spot reserved allready. It would be nice to have you next to us so Tyler can keep an eye on you.He thinks you are pretty crafty and might be inclined to take unfair advantage of his good nature. Grumpy G

Gino, I like the one big pit thing for class 5. We will win the money for sure. That should cover the cost of a drink or 2 for everyone.:drink:

That would be fun....were in for next year...

I just tought with us having the biggest class and with all the room at the Trump Marina..that we would put all Class 5 boats together and have one big tent and have all our sponsors product, equipment, promoting safety all under one tent..and if any teams had t-shirts ect for sale have all the teams appearal that is for sale under one tent like a little store....

On staging the boats since there is so much room...
I was thinking stage the boats at a angle leaving 8 to 10 feet between each boat....and have our small tents and support trucks parked behind there boats instead of along side of them so the fans could see all the boats and walk between each boat and not have the trucks blocking the view of the boats...and by having the team trucks behind there boats they could still work on them just as easy...

I had a few more ideas...and was going to take this on if you guys were all a go on it...but I have been bugging the crap out of Tammy to come to the race...and she got the time off..
So I will be MIA most of the weekend....so I don't want to take something on and not be able to see it threw....

It might be something to think about in the furtue about doing this at every race site...it would look more professional (and not saying that it is not now) and would be another little pitch to sponsors on how there product would be displayed...

I'll try and make it Saturday for the pits... My daughters Christening is Sunday so I'm out for the race. Believe it or not, last month when I scheduled the christening, I scheduled it "around" this race so now unfortunately I can't make the race. Didn't go to Patchogue cause I thought I'd be in AC. :( Such as life!

I really like that idea !!!

I would hope all of the Classes could be lined up by their Class in the Pits.

It certainly might make things easier for the Fans to compare the boats when they are right in front of them by their Class.

Perhaps even a Banner to describe each Class at each Pit Area too ! :drink:

That was one of the things I was going to ask you...I had a big white blank banner here at the Dealership somewhere that can have printed or stickers put on it....

If we came up with a sponsor for the tent..I was going to see if we could have all the teams names and #s and were they were out of along with all the teams sponsors on the banner...

One of the hardest parts is getting all of the correct information to put on them. Many have crew changes over the years and sometimes even during the current season.

Glass Dave and Stickerboy could probably get you the stickers...

Gino I gotta be honest with Ya! I dont think you will see as much effort from each team as you would being judged individually.As far as the staging,why wouldn't we do this anyways?

I always thought that we should be staged all together...
But I think alot has to do with as teams arrive they just take the best spot they feel is good for them....
Plus some put there boats next to there freinds or some teams running 2 boats in differant classes...

In Orange Beach Worlds in 2003..we had almost all the F1 boats together if not all.....

I guess its just logistics.....and getting all the teams to agree to do it....

To me...I think its a plus and I'm in if anybody else is...

Maybe it has to be one of those things were if a few started to do the rest might just follow...

I will be there Thurs morning...if anybody wants we can find out who is in and make the room for it if its OK with OPA...
