To all the OPA Warriors

Eight races. I can't believe we did it. I look back not so many years, and can't believe how many great people I would have never met, if not for this crazy sport of ours. Thankyou to you all for allowing me to be part of your lives. From young gun Johnny Saris, to the old fart Evil Ed. (I can say that because he still doesn't even have cable TV never mind Internet.) What a great crew. You all make the OPA a family. One of which I am so proud. 2010 was off the hook. Stand by, 2011 will top it. Already working on next year. I will miss one guy the most. Haggin has been the single most generous man the sport has ever seen. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Could not have done it without you. Haggins work is done, it is up to us to carry the ball. Our sport is probably the least recognized of all, but that's OK. I would rather be racing my boat in front of no one, than be on national TV, racing my lawnmower. WTF. Anyway, enjoy the offseason, it will be over in no time. See you in February for the awards. Thank you Smitty for all you do. Thanks to all of the OPA staff, racers and volunteers who make such a great series to be involved with. Looking forward to 2011. By the way, anyone have a moving van available for the banquet? We have to get the Godfather Cup from Moorestown to the AC area.
