Default Race ideas for a new guy

Hi..I have purchased a ex-race boat that needs to be raced once again. I live in nj and am willing to travel to race around. Im 26yrs old and just bought myself a 29 Century (the old Turn of the Century B-16 boat) i want to race with the OPA and i need to know where to start. Right now the boat is powered by 2 blown small blocks and have just touched 100 on gps.

any help is appreciated

Watch the TV show this Sunday at 4pm on Versus and get a feel for what your missing.

Stop by Smitty's and say hello - behind the Pilot House on Rt 70 in Brick. Talk to him and get your questions answered.

Great news. What a cool boat.I remember the Turn of the Century racing in B-Class.This is one of the best things about the bracket classes in OPA;older race boats like yours can be competitive again.Look forward to meeting your team at the OPA party in Feb.

Rule# 1.......Never brag how fast your boat is (especially when gps / bracket racing is involved). OPA is the place to be.
