Sure, why wouldn't it be?
Not sure what has changed and what has not. |
Is the ntx drive that it had still allowed?
|
Dean read the new rules. No the NXT drive is not legal in OPA,SBI or OSS rules. It will be allowed in P1. With that being said I believe the drive is off the boat already and would make a good SVL boat for someone. I heard the price is right and they worked on the bottom for better stability. Thats just what I heard and dont know for fact.

Randy lets throw a lid on the Krypto and go!

MD And yes Randy I did read the rules, I hope you have a spare tire! |
Sorry, forgot about the NXT. That would be a no no.
That boat could use the engine being lowered and a jackshaft going to the drive. If it was a bit more stable, it could be fast, especially in rough water. |
could a 28 Batboat be made eligable to run SVL?
|
Glassdave,
The rules say "No aero dynamic devices"-I guess the wings would disqualify it? It would be cool to see a bat boat run in this class. |
If the rules are gonna be used to make them all run the same, why not let the Bat in? For that matter a 28 Bat with an Ilmor!
