Default 2011 OPA SVL Rulebook

Thanks to all of the SVL teams that attended the conference call tonight and agreed with these rules being put in place for the 2011 season.

The objective of these rules is to give everyone of you a fair chance to get a checkered flag, without concern for age of hull design.

Let the best team win!

Any questions, please contact me or Smitty.

Trailers: All trailers that carry SVL boats will need to maintain at least 35 PSI of air pressure in all tires including at least one spare tire.

All trailer tires must be round, no square or oval tires permitted.

'Spinners' are permitted on trailer rims, however maximum diameter not to exceed 22"

We have been working with Good Year on a special SVL trailer tire that will not comply with the 35 psi rule. Because
the design is proprietary, I cannot say what pressure the tires will run at. If the other teams won't allow us to run this tire
setup, we will stay in class 6.

Seriously, great job OPA and the teams working together to move the SVL class forward!

But once they are built you can't change the running surface, I mean tires!
