I agree with AB. I have been to St Clair since 2006 and I have never, I mean never seen poor turnout. And it will NOT happen......Not on St Clair's watch.
Hope you all can come and enjoy racing!

possible low turnout
Hope the rumors are not true about a low turnout. In these rough times, I hope the racers can put together their boats and finances to continue to put on a great show here. To continue to grow the support a good turnout must show for all race venues to continue to have success. This is the problem when everyone races under competing series. If everyone could bury the hatchets and have all available racers turnout at every race site that would definitely grow the sport. St Clair has continued to grow and everyone enjoys themselves- spectators and racers- to have a small turnout would be a very disappointing thing to have happen. We can watch offshore boats go up and down the river any day of the week- what we really enjoy here is to see side by side racing with many boats all at once for just one weekend a year. Hope this is just a rumor and that in the end we will have as many as last year and that we will finally get to see another turbine boat race against Miss Geico.

Teams,
It's that time again!!! St Clair is just around the corner July 30-31st.
I am compiling a list of teams for Dry Pit space in St. Clair.
Please advise if you are planning on attending and what you need for space. Just reply on this thread.
Thanks
Brian
Note: Port Huron is the following weekend Aug 6-7 , see other thread.
