Ok, time is running out on this. I need to know who is going. Security in the park will be very tight. The only way in is if your are on the manifest. If you have questions, ask here, or call 908 910 8025 or email [email protected]. I need to know by Friday. Thanks Smitty

Our Peters & May Racing entry will be in attendance.

Will Frank be there also to read the OPA GPS's or do we need to obtain the SBI required Garmins?

From what I was told you will need a SBI GPS unit and the "equipment registration fee" will be waved to OPA members but your still responsible for the driver / throttleman fee and race entry fee.

When I spoke to JC months ago, the agreement is like this. OPA or SBI GPS is fine. I will work with Frank to be there. Any OPA registered team is accepted by SBI. You will have to pay entrance fees. P class is 600.00. If there are 3 or more class 6 boats we will run the class. All class 5 boats run class 4 at 80 mph. The rest of the rules are by the SBI rule book. My only concern race day would be to be sure most of the storm debris has cleared the Hudson. Right now it is a mess. A week from now it should be fine. This is a non points event for us. We felt it important to support SBI at this event. If all goes well we will look to work together in the future. Thanks Smitty

I'll be there. Still not sure if I'm coming up on Thursday or Friday yet, it all depends on the weather
