Double duty- We might just be crazy enough to do it
 

Dad and I just picked up a 1982 32 Cobra 3 man full staggar race boat that he originally rigged at Harbor 1, but the boat was never raced! This winter and next summer were going to restore the boat and run it in class 4, and hopefully still run the Krypto in Class 5 all year. Yee haww :coolcowboy:

Congrats Johnny and Jason!!!! Our class welcomes you with open arms, but be forewarned while your restoring and rigging, your cousin Dee is down here getting about 3-4 hours a week seat time and now she is even more pumped knowing you and pops are joining our class. My only words of advice.... Dont get beat by a girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek:

Cobra boat question-When did they change the deck design? I was expecting to see the deck that was similar to the old raceboats "Yes Express", "Man-O-War", "Crazy Greek" or "Harry O".

sold everything to dave at mdg. ask for the picture of it I got from powerplay's wall. I gave him that too. I had a trailer for sale for 3500.00 nice twin axle aluminum in great shape that might still be available ( a friend is using it for a repair, and it's a fresh water use and made for a powerplay33 from so.fl trailers. call if interested 239-437-9480.) I also have other pics of it with the sbc in it.

more pics, I gave dave a bunch of decals also , including a swedish yacth sticker that was on it from racing overseas , I had remade. I just got stopped in the middle of rebuilding it and ended up moving to fl. and lost interest after that . could be a great boat with some light weight motors and rigging set up.

My dad was the first person to rig it in florida! She looks great! I can't wait! Thanks!

That Cobra is going to be bad ass. Came close to buying, just couldn't pull the trigger...lots of work for me. Good to see it's back in the hands of Performance Marine. Can't wait to see it Johnny! Staggered Smallblock/Bravo?
